     Karey Sarlo - Account Manager

Karey is excellent at customer service as our clients would say! With 5 years’ experience in our industry and a passion for helping others, Karey excels at finding a solution in a timely manner. Karey was raised in Reno, Nevada and has an Associate’s degree from the University of Nevada. Karey often is able to free up much needed time for HR professionals and plan administrators we work with by taking over tasks that can often be very time consuming. Karey is very detail oriented in the more complex situations making it easy and efficient to communicate with our company.      Michael R. Perreault - Employee Benefits Consultant


Mike joined Rocky Mountain Insurance Consultant’s Inc. as a partner in 2006. He currently develops and manages strategic health & wellness strategies for range of businesses in Colorado and across the United States. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Northern Michigan University. He has been consulting with businesses in the Denver, Colorado area for nearly 20 years. 


Mike has built his business on personalized service, hard work and a devotion to his client’s needs above all. Mike focuses on the complex details in the healthcare industry which allow him to provide a unique combination of data analysis, negotiating strategies and a common sense approach to structuring employee benefit programs. Mike’s clients not only have been pleased with benefit programs that fit their needs but plans that perform financially below market trends. Mike is very passionate about employee education and it shows with his dedication and commitment to provide personal “one on one” consultations with employees. 


Mike lives in Denver with his wife Kate, son Ben, and daughter Sydney. Both Mike and his wife are active in the community coaching children’s sports and volunteering with both local charities and their community public school.

     Debbie Gerken - Employee Benefits Consultant

Experienced and extraordinary at service, Debbie’s dedication to her job shines through daily as she works hard for her clients. With 10 years of experience in the world of employee benefits, she prides herself in her ability to find resolution in a timely manner. Clients can count on Debbie’s personalized assistance for the simplest task to the most complex problem. Also raised in Colorado, Debbie graduated from CSU with a degree in Business Marketing. She and her husband John are proud of their son and daughter who are now young adults and pursuing dreams of their own.

     Laura Cohan - Account Manager

Laura started working at our company in 2015. She attends Colorado Christian University as a student athlete on the varsity golf team. She is in her final year of obtaining a bachelor degree in both business and accounting and is striving to become a CPA after school. She has a huge passion for traveling the world that allows her to meet new people and broaden her perspective on life.  


Laura has great interpersonal skills that reflect the relationships she has made with clients in the short time she has been here. Her organization skills have also been essential with making our systems more efficient and better suited for the clients. Although new to the industry, she has taken a hold of how insurance works and has become a great addition to the team. 

     Michelle Ribaudo - Executive Benefits Coordinator

Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Advertising from Drake University and brings a unique mix of skills to the insurance world. With over eight years of experience in the advertising and production industry, she's worked for some of the most well known agencies on some of the most well know brands on the market. Her ability to integrate the creative industry into the insurance industry is a major benefit to RMIC and her clients. Service is key for Michelle and when it comes to her clients, she'll go above and beyond to see that their dreams become a reality.

     Cindy Myers​ - President, Employee Benefits

Cindy Myers- Born and raised in Colorado, Cindy has a true sense of both the metro and rural communities and the unique market that Colorado employers face. Her introduction into the insurance world began as a child, stuffing marketing envelopes for her now retired Father, Bill Myers. After graduating from CU Boulder, she valued every moment she had working with her Father and business mentor prior to purchasing Rocky Mountain Insurance Consultants in 2005. 


Cindy has built her business based on personalized service and working hard for her clients. Her unique niche in the Public Sector has helped dozens of small public employers provide better and more affordable healthcare. While she continues to focus her efforts in this area, Cindy enjoys traveling nationally for her valued clients as well.


Living close to her family in Littleton with her spouse Eric and their son, Drew, Cindy enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors and volunteering her time with young adults. Most especially, she hopes to encourage other young women to pursue their dreams in business ownership.

     Mike Shores - Employee Benefits Consultant


With more than 20 years of experience, Mike is a highly experienced broker consultant who lives in Broomfield. With clients throughout Colorado he is in a position to offer his clients the solutions they require.


Mike has always had a head for business. He earned his BS in marketing from Arizona State, and later went on to get an MBA in business management from the University of Missouri at Columbia. After spending four years at IBM, and before entering the insurance world, Mike started his own business. An experience that left him with a great understanding of small businesses and how they operate. Something he draws on every day.


As Mike sees it, the most important part of his job is not only to be an expert in the benefits market, the current legislation, and products, but to be there for his clients. To be the person they can rely on for anything related to their employee benefits programs. It’s something he enjoys, and that’s what makes him so good at what he does.

His focus has always been on providing his customers with the highest level of service he possibly can and doing it in a way that is up-front and down to earth. That means he knows what he’s talking about and he strives to present it in a friendly and understandable way.


Mike lives in Broomfield with his daughters Brittany, twins Hannah and Nicole, and their 10-year-old Shiba Inu, Shelby.

     Lucy Charlton - Account Manager                                                        

Lucy received her Bachelor's degree from Rutger's University. A native of New Jersey, she moved to Colorado in 1994 and loves all that Colorado has to offer, especially the weather! Lucy has sixteen years' experience in Human Resources with the majority of that time focused on benefits, retirement and recruitment. Lucy has worked in the Public Sector for the last nine years and is excited to bring that experience to Rocky Mountain Insurance Consultants. Lucy's focus has always been on building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service. She is very detail oriented, but is also keen at seeing the big picture. Lucy lives in Denver with her two teenage children and two Havanese puppies. She enjoys volunteering in the community with her kids.
